 When I omit your subdirectory KDE says "Using Attica '''with''' KDE
 support", which is different to before, but KMM still crashes:

 so, it looks like it is not an attica issue after all!

 Is perhaps /opt/macports-test/bin/update-mime-database the culprit here?
 Guess I have to run KMM through gdb...
