 Yes, `ryandesign` is right, this ticket is enormous and I'm going to do my
 part to make it even more enormous by adding this completely extraneous
 and content-free comment.

 Seriously, all - `atlas` is just one of those nasty-wasty ports that tries
 to figure out too many things and ignores/guesses/plays with compilers and
 variables and will be nuts to work with for the conceivable future. Trust
 me, I maintain the `boost` port, and their custom build system will make
 you want to drink... heavily. :-)

 Hey! I managed to add a comment about ''yet another'' unrelated port! A
 record! :-D
