 Hi Dominic,

 you are absolutely right, there is something strange going on. Obviously
 the version directly download from bitbuckets differs from the one
 mirrored at http://lil.fr.distfiles.macports.org/makeicns, since here is
 what I get for the bitbucket version:

 I'll investigate it further and let you know.
