Comment:

 KDE Workspace doesn't even know how to build on a Mac: the error message
 about no Darwin directory is because they did not supply a build directory
 for on the Mac.

 At the very minimum, to convert one of the Linux ones would require going
 through and replacing all the variables in the file. Unfortunately, much
 more is likely needed which is why they have separate directories for each
 platform.

 This is one I'm just not interested in fixing. Feel free to file a bug
 upstream at bugs.kde.org.
