 Did you install gcc45 with +universal? If not, you're not expected to be
 able to build both 32- and 64-bit. What do you have build_arch set to? If
 it's x86_64 and you didn't use +universal then the port has built for the
 wrong arch for some reason, but if it's i386 then this is not a bug.
