 Is this being added sooner or later? It would be very useful for example
 in using ns-3 simulator with python graphical visualizer, now integrated
 in the core software since version 3.10.
 I suppose this was also one of the reason this bug was opened.
 Also all dependencies for it compiles, just short of this and probably
 py26 kiwi (see ticket 24093).

 Please add the patch, thanks.
