Comment:

 The file patch-Makefile.in.diff is definitely in the repository in the
 files directory, and thus MacPorts should not have made any attempt to
 fetch that file from SourceForge or anywhere else. Your port definitions
 may be out of date. Please run "sudo port selfupdate" and try again.
