 With this line in macports.conf:
 {{{
 macosx_deployment_target        10.5
 }}}

 On a machine running Snow Leopard, SuiteSparse fails to build, because the
 appropriate ARCHFLAGS (-arch x86_64) are not passed to the compiler
 (gcc-4.0), which then builds 32-bit binaries by default.
