 This is not a problem with mesa.  It's a problem somewhere else on your
 system.  That error message is bizzare.  It's saying it can't create a
 hard link to a different file even though they're the same file, and then
 it's giving (null) as the reason.

 You need to investigate this on your own and find out what is wrong with
 your system.  Did you try extracting the tarball yourself?  In that
 location? With those arguments?  Find out why it's failing, and that will
 probably lead you to your problem.
