New description:

 Using recent qt4-mac 4.7.3 it compiles ok however during compilation of

Comment:

 What is "saxsview"? I don't see a port for that in MacPorts. Are you
 trying to compile it manually? If so, it sounds like you're trying to
 compile it universally, but your qt4-mac is not installed universally. To
 fix that, reinstall the qt4-mac port with the +universal variant.
 Alternately, don't build saxsview universally.
