Comment:

 when the port was created, the only SCM supported in trac was subversion.

 Are you using trac with one of the 3rd party backends? It would probably
 be nice to have a port (or include support in the trac port) for them as
 well.

 I don't like default variants, but since we no longer want to use negative
 variants, it probably makes sense to alter the port to have a default
 +subversion variant that pulls in the subversion pythonbindings port.
