 Oh and beyond the absurdity of expecting users to check open tickets
 before updating, there's only several hundred to wade through, some dating
 back to the start of the project. Yeah, that's some really awesome quality
 control. Its totally reasonable to expect end users to deal with this
 stuff...

 I will be very happy the day I can say I no longer use OS X as this is
 just one of the purely awful things about using it and one of the areas
 where even the shitty Linux distros are a mile ahead.
