 This is what I did after a fresh install of macports on lion.

 {{{
  sudo port install tree
  sudo port install coreutils
  sudo port install bash-completion
  sudo port install git-core +svn +bash_completion
 }}}

 and the last command failed.

 (sorry for not cc'ing the maintainers, I have written it down for the next
 time - thanks)
