 Yes to Dragonegg.  I personally am impressed with all the LLVM goodness
 wrapped in the latest Xcode builds (3.0 is impressive).  Dragonegg seems
 pretty solid for C.  The authors claim there are a few quirks with C++ and
 boost which worry me though (and I use boost a lot).  Arguably a good
 direction for you since Fortran support is critical.  Pretty bleeding
 edge, but then you know what you're doing (smile)...Good luck.

 Any interest in my build logs?  The patch blew them away but I can re-
 generate.
