 A couple of things:
 1. You seem to be building with the system gcc-4.2.  This should work
 fine, but if /usr/bin/gcc-4.2 is actually an alias for llvm-gcc-4.2, there
 is a known build problem under Mac OS 10.6 and beyond.  The latest Erlang
 port file sets the optimization settings properly so that it will work
 under 10.6 and 10.7 with the default Apple compiler.

 2. If (1) doesn't work, you could try building with the gcc-4.4 port you
 have installed, which might work.

 I still don't see the errors you are encountering, but I'm running Xcode
 4.1, and do not have the GNU compilers from Macports installed.
