 Things just got weirder...

 Until now I've tried everything on my Macbook Pro. I just tried it on my
 MacPro which has the same version of OS X, XCode and Macports and cairo
 builds fine with llvm-gcc-4.2... I've got no clue what's going on here...

 Clang on my MacBook Pro doesn't work though...
