 I think you mean block quote, as wikiformatting says nothing about code
 block, but either way I can't go fix it now since I'm not allowed to edit
 my own posts on this silly thing.

 Also, the presence of a block quote mechanism does not make up for the
 fact that someone with severe brain damage implemented the wiki formatting
 in such a way that line returns are stripped. Text that is block quoted
 should always appears exactly as given, never re-wrapped, use horizontal
 scroll to view. Text which is not block quoted, in any situation outside
 dumbfuck wikiland, may have additional soft newlines added to wrap it
 nicely within the horizontal space available. REMOVING the newlines which
 are already provided serves NO purpose whatsoever and can only bring
 problems with NO possible benefit. Line returns aren't entered in the text
 box for fun, they should not be discarded without care.
