 Do you have '-atlas' or something in variants.conf?  gcc44 is needed by
 py2?-numpy, unless you have '-atlas' as a variant for py27-numpy (or
 equivalent) that is.

 Unless an atlas-enabled numpy is needed, I would suggest just installing
 the right numpy with '-atlas' then install the pygtk needed:

 $ sudo port install py27-numpy -atlas
 $ sudo port install py27-gtk
 }}}
