 Looks good in general. I can see a few minor changes that I will make. A
 couple notes that are worth mentioning:

 It would be better if there was a tarball we could fetch rather than
 checking out a git tag. That would allow people to install it without
 having git installed, and allow it to be mirrored.

 Does the kext need to be installed into /System/Library/Extensions? I'd
 rather avoid putting things in /System if we can. It only needs to be
 there if it must be loaded during boot, and I think that isn't true
 because libfuse will autoload it when needed, right?
