 #21069 and #12336 are the tickets that all the rest were duped to, FTR.
 The former is about mismatched architectures, i.e. the user switched to
 Snow Leopard without following the [wiki:Migration] instructions. The
 latter is about conflicting headers in /usr/local.

 The third way to make p5-locale-gettext fail to work is to install it
 against e.g. perl5.8 and then switch to another version, e.g. perl5.12.
