 I just attempted the build again, and it now worked:

 --->  Installing ghostscript @9.01_0
 --->  Deactivating ghostscript @9.00_4
 --->  Activating ghostscript @9.01_0
 --->  Cleaning ghostscript
 --->  Uninstalling ghostscript @9.00_4
