 The server for both gnuplot-4.4.2.tar.gz and gnuplot.pdf are
 http://ovh.dl.sourceforge.net/gnuplot

 I have tried before all the recommendations in the FAQ (selfupdated,
 clean, reinstall.

 Problem remains
