 Attached please find a patch to update the dact port to the current
 release version.[[br]]
 I would have committed it myself but was unfamiliar with the purpose of
 several reinplace lines which had to be removed to allow the release
 version to destroot.[[br]]
 Removing these lines allows the program to build, but I want to be sure it
 works as intended before committing.[[br]][[br]]

 to make functional changes to the port.[[br]]
 If you cannot help me determine if junking those reinplace lines is
 acceptable, please pass the buck to someone who can.[[br]][[br]]
