 In your log there is messages "Privilege de-escalation not attempted as
 not running as root" and I don't have them in mine. I was a bit confused.

 I'm using gcc 4.2 to compile and it works well. You're using 4.0. Header
 files must differ as well.
 I only have 10.6 Macs, you're trying to install the port on 10.5. I'll try
 to write a patch for your version but I'll be unable to test it.
