 Since Xcode 4.0 the latest version of gcc it's gcc-4.2.

 -rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel   162K 11 Feb 17:00 /usr/bin/gcc-4.2
 }}}

 You have to replace gcc-4.0 by "gcc" or "gcc-4.2"
