 I try to install ettercap but during configure I get:

Comment:

 As per the ticket guidelines, please don't set the Milestone field, and
 remember to preview and use WikiFormatting.

 You don't appear to be using MacPorts to build ettercap, so this bug
 tracker is not an appropriate place to ask for help. (If I'm mistaken
 about that, please reopen and attach the log file.) And no, xorg-
 libpthread-stubs is not libpthread.
