Hi all,
I'm going crazy! I hope that someone can help me.
I installed the Snow Leopard installer package of MacPorts (MacPorts
1-3.9.2 on Mac OS 10.6.7 ).
Now I'm trying to update the pots but no way!
First, each time I receive this responses:
Warning: No index(es) found! Have you synced your source indexes?
Second I receive an error message with connection timeout.
I tried rsync and directly htpp links on source.conf but doesn't work (and
I check if it's a firewall problem but i don't think so since the ping to
the same IP addresses work fine).
I tried to use http://www.macports.org/files/ports.tar.gz [default] and
here are the message:
Warning: Cannot check if http://www.macports.org/files/ports.tar.gz
was updated, (Timeout was reached)
Finally I tried also the subversion. But also there I'm not able to do the
checkout:
Synchronizing local ports tree from
http://www.macports.org/files/ports.tar.gz
Warning: Cannot check if http://www.macports.org/files/ports.tar.gz was
updated, (Timeout was reached)
Error: Fetching http://www.macports.org/files/ports.tar.gz failed
(couldn't connect to host)
DEBUG: Couldn't sync the ports tree: Synchronization of 1 source(s) failed
while executing
"macports::selfupdate [array get global_options] base_updated"
Error: /opt/local/bin/port: port selfupdate failed: Couldn't sync the
ports tree: Synchronization of 1 source(s) failed
Accenture-Tech-Labss-iMac:~ ATLDEV02$ sudo svn checkout
http://svn.macports.org/repository/macports/trunk/dports/ .
svn: OPTIONS of
'http://svn.macports.org/repository/macports/trunk/dports': could not
connect to server (http://svn.macports.org)
I have no answer, someone have an idea on how I can solve this problem and
sync the ports on my Mac?
thank you!
cheers
Alex
