 I don't know if this is the entire problem since I've never tried to
 install kdenlive, but you don't want "sudo" on the second command.  You
 want to start the session daemon as yourself, not as root:

 {{{
 launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist
 }}}
