 I want to deactivate the '''ruby''' port.  The '''swig-ruby''' port
 depends on it, so I deactivate '''swig-ruby'''.  When I try to deactivate
 '''ruby''', I'm told:

 Unable to uninstall/deactivate ruby @1.8.7-p334_0+thread_hooks, the
 following ports depend on it:
 --->    swig-ruby @2.0.3_0
 }}}

 So, I must uninstall a deactivated port in order to deactivate one it
 depends upon.

 The semantics for deactivate should be the same as for uninstall, it seems
 to me.
