 Ok, I updated OS-X (to 10.6.7) then XCode (to 3.2.6). Then I uninstalled,
 cleand and installed ilmbase & openexr. The libs are still no .dylibs:

 Then I cleaned kdelibs4 and tried another install run. It failed (due to
 missing symbols). The log is attached...
