 IMHO, if this work, go for it.  Adding "-spec macx-g++" just makes the
 project build specifically for OSX / G++.  I do find it odd that the -spec
 is not determined automatically (or, maybe, using a default), like it
 usually is by QMake.  In the future, if I ever get back around to working
 on the qt4-x11 port (or, qt4 +x11 someday), we'll need to revisit this
 addition since it'll require the (IIRC) darwin-g++ spec.  But, for now, I
 think you're safe adding this change.
