 Hmm... I've been fiddling with this for a while, and it isn't obvious to
 me what's different. I have a hard time testing ''actual'' universal
 builds since my own installation is not universal.

 No idea why it would work for the py26 version but not py27. The portfiles
 are virtually identical.

 If anyone wants to step up to debug this, the help would be appreciated.
 Otherwise, since it would seem to be some oddness between macports and
 py27, I'll mark it as 'wontfix'. :-(
