 #31046 is indeed the error I am seeing. The workaround of renaming llvm as
 clang fixes it.

 No, it's a different error, again related to clang in Xcode 4.2. In fact,
 the workaround of #31046 also fixes this problem. But this is a very
 awkward way of fixing a compilation problem...
