 Roy,

 your patch builds fine but VMs are crashing now.

  1. I don't use any specific variants. Default is +vde2 +vnc
  2. Compiling with the 10.6 SDK neither worked with clang nor llvm-gcc-4.2
 (see attached main.log and main.2.log).
