Comment:

 The [http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=9892 clang bug] that caused this
 problem was allegedly fixed in May, and
 [http://lists.macosforge.org/pipermail/macports-
 dev/2011-November/016725.html a brief survey of users of the final version
 of Xcode 4.2] turned up no users experiencing this problem. So I assume it
 was specific to the pre-release versions of Xcode 4.2 and has been fixed
 in the final release version. So I won't change the port just for that.

 If you are experiencing the problem described in this ticket, install a
 final release version of Xcode and rebuild gettext with:

 {{{
 sudo port -n upgrade --force gettext
 }}}
