#32033: Tuxmath fullscreen fails to open on 10.7.2

2.93 GHz Intel Core i7 iMac running 10.7.2 with 19" monitor connected to
the DVI port. I installed Xcode from the App Store, then the most current
MacPorts release, and finally tuxmath with sudo port install tuxmath.
Version 2.0.3_1 was installed and an icon created under
/Applications/MacPorts.
When I click the icon, the screens on both monitors go black for a second
and then the desktop returns. The Tuxmath icon is displayed as not
responding in the dock and the process uses about 45% CPU and seems to be
writing to disk. I tried letting it run for 10+ minutes and nothing ever
came up. I ran tuxmath from the command line and saw the same behavior
with the following error:
<Warning>: CGDisplayBaseAddress is obsolete and returning NULL for display
0x42735c0.
I am able to view the game by turning off fullscreen mode in the options
file, but on the 2560x1440 screen it's a very small portion of the real
estate. Is there any way to make it work fullscreen? If not, can the
default option be set to fullscreen=0 with some sort of notice that it can
be changed if desired?
