After installing couchdb 1.1.1 it fails to start. After some digging I
managed to find that this was because /opt/local/var/run/couchdb directory
was missing (where it is trying to create a file specified by [couchdb]
uri_file).
For reference, this is printed in the log when this happens:

After I created /opt/local/var/run/couchdb directory and chown'ed it to
user/group couchdb it finally started and I could relax. ;)
