 Perhaps we should switch easytag-devel to
 [https://github.com/stsquad/easytag this fork] which includes some fixes,
 perhaps including support for modern mp4v2.

 The original author of easytag hasn't released a new version in years and,
 according to the post where I found this fork's URL, is unreachable.

 On the other hand, it may be an extremely simple fix; see the patch in
 #18985.
