Comment:

 Undoubtedly the new privilege-dropping code in MacPorts 2. The software
 should not be trying to look in your Application Support folder.

 I'm uncertain why we need this port at all anymore. Surely you'd want the
 much newer version of the BitTorrent software available for download by
 visiting http://www.bittorrent.com/ ?
