 When building gconf, I get build errors from pango, relating to
 G_CONST_RETURN:

 :info:build /opt/local/include/pango-1.0/pango/pango-script.h:132: error:
 expected declaration specifiers or ‘...’ before ‘G_CONST_RETURN’

 Apparently the problem is that pango 1.28 is too old for the current
 version of glib2 (see
 http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-896464-start-0.html, as mentioned in
 #32185).
