 This patch is required for slice2py from the ZeroC ICE project to function
 correctly (package ice-python27, etc.)

 It is included in the version of mcpp distributed by ZeroC in their third
 party packages, and was confirmed as appropriate by the developer of mcpp,
 but has not been incorporated yet.

 Without it "//" comments are always (and incorrectly) interpreted by mcpp
 as being at the beginning of a line, meaning any line with "//" comments
 (even if they are at the end) will be excluded when compiling slice files
 to python stubs.
