 Thanks for your detailed report. This is similar to #31303.[[br]]
 In this ticket, the workaround is to build {{{libglade2}}} and
 {{{libgnomecanvas}}} from source ({{{port -s}}}) rather than installing
 the binary packages from {{{packages.macports.org}}} (MacPorts' default
 behaviour).[[br]]

 Could you install {{{libglade2}}} and {{{libgnomecanvas}}} from source and
 report whether it works better?
