 OK, I can reproduce this on Lion using Xcode 4.2. It worked OK with clang
 on Xcode 4.1, so it doesn't look like it's (purely) a clang problem.

 I'm looking into it, though I'm traveling for the next couple weeks and
 may not be able to get to it.
