 The current build of the ng-spice package does not build with the Xspice
 support that is needed to add support for the extremely common spice2poly
 code model. Thus most models of active devices provided in textbooks and
 from manufacturers will not work with the macports build.

 To correct this I propose either adding a variant (+xspice) or adding to
 the default build the configure flag --enable-xspice. This compiled and
 ran the proper spice models properly for me running Lion and Xcode 4.1.

 An example of a Portfile used to test the +xspice variant is attached.
