 The default compiler depends on your Xcode and Mac OS X version. llvm-
 gcc-4.2 is the default compiler of Xcode 4.0 (Snow Leopard) and Xcode 4.1
 (Lion).

 As long as the patch is not committed yet, you can try
 {{{
 sudo port install asymptote configure.compiler=gcc-4.2
 }}}
 to install asymptote.
