 When I try to load symbols I get a segfault:

  $ ggdb --quiet

  (gdb) file /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox

  Reading symbols from
 /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox...Segmentation fault

  $

 If I use the version of gdb that comes with Xcode then I don't have this
 problem.
