Comment:

 There should be no circumstance in which `configure.compiler` would ever
 be `macports-clang`. The only way I could imagine this happening is if you
 requested it by running `sudo port install liboil configure.compiler
 =macports-clang`, and it is not supported for users to change the
 compiler.
