 Would love to this get updated to version 9.0. C-Kermit has been open
 sourced as of version 9.0 under a Revised 3-Clause BSD License.

 - Open Source license.

 - 64-bit file access and transfer and 64-bit integer arithmetic on most
 common platforms.

 - Support for recent releases of Linux, Mac OS X, *BSD, etc

 - Support for newer OpenSSL releases up to and including 1.0.0d

 - Strengthened error checking for file transfer under extremely harsh
 conditions.

 - Simplified semantics for variables used in scripts.

 - Super-handy extensions to the RENAME command.

 - Other scripting improvements including support for reading and writing
 CSV and TSV files.

 - MIME character-set names are now recognized.

 - Improved logging and debugging.
