 Something is not right with your installation.

 If I execute the same command that you did, I only get the p5.12 versions
 of the perl ports not the old names.
 So it says you have two different version installed p5-xml-parser and
 p5.12-xml-parser and both are active.
 You might want to uninstall the extraneous ones.
