 then:
 -cleaned all ports
 -sudo port install clisp (ran forever, 10+ hours, looked hung)
 -killed above hung sudo port install clasp
 -sudo port clean clasp
 -sudo port install clisp (same error as above); main.log attached as
 main3.log
